Marie has been portrayed on screen by Elvis Presley’s granddaughter, Riley Keough, in the 2010 movie ‘The Runaways’ based on her sister Cherie Currie’s book ‘Neon Angel’.

This book was inspired by a poem she wrote many years ago entitled ‘Into the Light’, a poem Dale Evans used in a published eulogy of her late husband, the legendary Roy Rogers.

Today, Marie leads a quiet life in Las Vegas NV restoring old treasures, building mosaic guitars, violins and crosses, a passion she can’t get enough of. Her hand made pieces are available for purchase at http://www.etsy.com/shop/MarieCurrieCreations and on Facebook at Marie Currie Creations.
